CELEBRITIES AND VIPS GATHER TO HONOR JERRY POWERS AND CHRISTOPHER CICCONE AT STAR GALA THIS SATURDAY

FILM RECORDING AND ENTERTAINMENT COUNCIL HOLDS ANNUAL "STAR GALA"

An array of celebrities and VIPs will gather to honor peers in the entertainment industry

 

(Miami, FL) November 10, 2010– The Miccosukee Resort and Gaming will be the place where a fabulous array of professionals from the entertainment world gather this November 13, 2010. The annual gala honors those who shape the landscape of the industry.

 

WHO: The Film, Recording and Entertainment Council (FREC) invites you to join us, along with Trina Robinson, Aubrey Aquino and a host of other celebrity friends, to support the achievements of Michele Pommier and many industry honorees at the annual Stars Gala on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at the Miccosukee Resort and Gaming. The Gala will feature an elegant evening of cocktails, chef sampling and awards. Guests will enjoy a silent auction featuring original artwork, high-end travel packages and other exciting items.

 

WHAT: South Florida has a great deal to be proud of and it is time to celebrate success together, as a community. Miami has become known as a mecca, one of the world's primary spots for filming and production. Behind this growth are individuals, companies, and institutions that are leading the way. On the evening of the Star Gala, the Film, Recording and Entertainment Council, the region's most comprehensive organization supporting the entertainment industry, will hold its annual event to recognize these South Florida stars. This year's honorees include Jerry Powers, Founder of Ocean Drive Magazine and acclaimed artist Christopher Ciccone. Other details include entertainment by Tito Puente Jr. and the Patxi Pastor Band.
